Cuba que lindo son tu paisajes...
Ive been a bit on the burned out side on politics the past few days so Ive decided to take it easy on the political posts for the next few days or so and go to, as Sheila puts it, my happy place.
To wit:

(The above photo is from an incredibly cool powerpoint presentation on El Tropicana I received a few days ago via email. If there's anyone out there that hasnt seen it, shoot me an email and Ill forward it to you.)

Nothing better than some excellent "Cuban Cheesecake" to start the day off...

1. Lovely, lovely lady. Men liked them full-figured back then. If she were an actress today, people would be snarking that she was a cow.
2. Her shoes are totally bitchin'. I need a pair of those shoes immediately, if not sooner.

I'd love to get a copy of the presentation. I'm glad I found your site. I left Cuba when I was young, and I live in Chicago, where there aren't that many Cubans, but I've been looking around your site, and I really want to go to Miami and see that Cuba Nostalgia convention. Do they have it every year?
