King Henry V, Act IV, scene iii, 35

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;.
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

King Henry V, Act II, scene ii

I doubt not that; since we are well persuaded
We carry not a heart with us from hence
That grows not in a fair consent with ours,
Nor leave not one behind that doth not wish
Success and conquest to attend on us.

"Under the operation of that policy, that agitation has not only, not ceased, but has constantly augmented. In my opinion, it will not cease, until a crisis shall have been reached, and passed. 'A house divided against itself cannot stand.' "

--Abraham Lincoln, June 16, 1858

I'm not a scholar of Shakespeare but me thinks that it would have been wise to ingoreth the attacks from yonder. Or as they taught me in elementary school "sticks and stones..."
