Democrats Censor ABC

It's official, the Democratic party has censored ABC's 9/11 docudrama that was scheduled to be run on Sunday and Monday nights:
The Ostroy Report has learned from a reliable source connected to ABC that an unnamed ABC executive said that former President Bill Clinton called Disney President and CEO Robert Iger this week to voice his anger and frustration over the network's plan to air a six-hour movie, "The Path to 9/11," on Sunday and Monday, and that Iger agreed to make certain changes requested by Clinton. According to this ABC source, the film is currently being edited. In seeking confirmation, our call to Iger's office went straight into voicemail. We will update our story if and when we hear from a Disney official. Disney is the parent company of ABC.
Freedom of speech? Just for Democrats. Hide your bibles folks, their coming after them next.

And of course the Dems did not say anything about the hit piece CBS did on the Reagans. That was ok. But heaven forbid you say anything negative about the dems...

Might as well watch "Team America: World Police". By the time the editing is done, "Team America" will be more accurate. And entertaining.

someone please remind me what happened when republicans voiced their anger over the Reagan mini series/movie?

the Reagan sereies was not censored, it was sent to Showtime...the problem with it was it was totally inaccurate to the histirical fact.
Totally different than this, a movie made by a bipartisian group of filmakers. The Executive Producer is a big Dem that donated money to Bill Clinton in the 90's. the filmmakers have a blog on abc about this film.
this is not equivalent to the Reagan miniseries

Thanks for the clarification Jpiner. I had no clue the EP of this series was a big Dem

"We therefore urge you to cancel this broadcast to cease Disney’s plans to use it as a teaching tool in schools across America through Scholastic."
Forget FREEDOM OF SPEECH...
For the political LEFT is OK to cancel a broadcast which is based on HISTORICAL facts because it shows just how incompetent and clueless the Democratic party is.
And the political LEFT have the unmitigated gull to criticize the Cuban-American exile community for wanting the book "Vamos a Cuba," which full of incorrect HISTORICAL facts, removed from Miami-Dade county SCHOOL libraries.
Double standards at its best...

To Bill "zipper" Clinton: "You can't handle the truth!" But the truth is gonna come out, no matter what. You forgot where you live...frustrating, isn't it, that we still have a Constitution that allows us peons to shove the facts in your face and let the rest of the world see you for what you really are...
George: When it comes to Bill and the demonkratz, the COWARD appellation nails it.

That's ok. I will just go out and buy the un-edited version! You know they will still have it in original form and the people who care will want to see what was taken out. Rush has a full un-edited pre-release version. I'm sure he can work a deal by which you can order it from his website or something after it airs. The funny thing is that from what I hear the people who really come out looking the worst are the terrorists. bun laden, zarkowardi, abu amakadurkadurka or whatever their names are take all the real blame and fury of the film. However, the democrats are more concerned about how they are portrayed. They think they are cast in a more negative light than the terrorists! Strange, I don't remember any censorship of bowling for Columbine, or fahrenheit 9-11?

Iger should just tell the Dems "F*ck off and die" and broadcast the piece as written.
So they have threatened to revoke the license? HA! The FCC better have good and concrete evidence to start that precedent.
I can just see the shit storm that would be generated if Disney, the "family network" has their license revoked... Uhmmm, maybe they'll make Disney put pants on Donald Duck?
