"Orgullo Latino"? (Updated)

Ladies and gentleman, just when we think it can't get any stranger, I present this (from commenter Miriam):

Icon of Che Guevara under "Orugullo Latino" at cingular web page.

To call Mark Seagal:

404-374-2799
404-236-6312

I called and left message at both numbers. I said: I have been a customer of Cingular for years, and I demand to remove the Che Guevara's picture. If you select to keep the picture of a murderer that killed more than 600 Cubans including my father in law, a murderer that hated the free enterprise system that Cingular represents, you must have the picture of Hitler as proud German. Then, I will understand, but if you do not have the picture of another murderer like Che was, then is not a matter of freedom. Please remove Che picture from options of graphics at Cingular.

I just called Mr. Seagal and asked him to call me with his comments. If any reader can access the Cingular page and send me the graphic for posting I'd appreciate it. Send it to spectator AT babalublog DOT com. The stupidity can now officially be called endemic.

Update #1: Univision also has ernestico's picture availble for download. See the comments or click here.

Update #2: It seems that the on again/off again picture of che is off again. This link shows that Cingular has removed the offending image -- again. I just clicked and it's gone. But I can assure you it was there just a little while ago. (H/T to Dave Roberts fro sending me the screen capture I posted above that shows the che image on the Cingular site.)

You don't need to be a Cingular customer to access the page. I posted the links at therealcuba yesterday.
The one with che and "Hasta la victoria siempre" sign is here:

The other one showing che and a house with a UJC sign was here but now it seems that they took it out:

George,

I sent the link. However, today ... there's no sign of any che graphics ... even when you search. Possible "damage control"? ... who knows

*****BREAKING NEWS*****BREAKING NEWS*****
I just spoke to Mark Seagal and he told me, "I bet your calling about the che guevara graphic?" I said, "I see you have recieved plenty of those calls already." He went on to say that he is sorry for putting up the graphic for sell and it should have never have happened. He wishes they (Cingular) would have realized this before and understands our why we would be insulted.

I can not access the graphics page at cingular.com to verify that in fact the image is no longer there.

I send all Cingular competitors a email of my article for them to see, the ignorance...

I believe Univision belongs to a consortium led by Texas Pacific Group and Thomas H. Lee Partners. Their headquarters is in Los Angeles, California. They mainly target the Mexican-American audience. I never watch any of their programs, and for the life of me, I can’t understand why anyone would.
