Just back from DC

I just got back from our nation's capital and boy, I got some stories to tell. But first, I need to spend some major quality time with the Mrs, as this is the first time we've ever been apart since the day we met ten years ago.

Get ready for some major storytelling tomorrow.

Let it loose! Are you running?

Glad you've returned safely, and can't wait to hear all about your trip tomorrow.

Welcome home "Barbaro." Just in time to enjoy your "Trend Setters" profile on Hispanic magazine. Pick up a copy; its a pretty good summary of what Babalublog.com and all its readers have managed to achieve.

Val, I know you would never admit it, but you demonstrate leadership in your passion, dedication, and commitment to liberty--here at home, and over there in the land of our heritage and hearts.

Thank you. I was honored to meet you.

Me too. I want to hear about the 'secret' plans already inplace for 'regime change' in Habana. You know, the one tha will commence within 12 hours after that HIJODEPUTA is finally placed 6 feet under. The one that's going to involve all those 'black Appaches' hitting all 17 key installations at 3am, with the secretly trained CUBAN TRAINED commando's taking over all key communications facilities, and announcing to the PEOPLE OF CUBA TO immediate arrest and capture the TOP 50 MOST WANTED who are responsible for the 47 YEARS OF HELL to be brought "DEAD OR ALIVE".

Anticipation!

As a grandson of a "plantado" from Boniato and other of Castro's gulags, Val, I salute your leadership and commitment to a free Cuba...and note that your wife deserves as much credit for tolerating your personal sacrifices toward the high cause of human rights for ordinary Cubans. Our generation of Cuban Americans, with many like myself residing outside of Havana II (Dade County), continue to carry the torch of freedom for those political prisoners still behind bars and on behalf of the silenced dissident movement in Cuba today. For Oscar Biscet and the many other patriots, like my grandfather, please know that you will never be forgotten. Freedom is not free and Cubans are paying the price daily, and in some cases, like my grandfather, over many years...18 to be precise. God bless him and his wife, my loving grandmother, for their ongoing devotion to family and country. Their happy ending continues to play out in Southwest Dade County.

From the Bayou State, home to a suprisingly strong contingent of Cubans....Viva Cuba Libre!.....Nemo

By any chance, has anybody here had the chance to read the New York Times Article about Bob Menendez's visit to Little Havana? According to them, Republicans just LOVE him down there.

That being said, this IS the New York Times we're talking about here!

Dino,

People like Bob Menendez and his corrupt Rat Party are the reasons why we live in such a sorry-ass-state here. I wouldn't vote for Bob Menendez even if he promised to personally thrust a stake into the Chief Bloodsucker in Kuba. I'm sick and tired of making 'devil-pacts' with these sorry ass corrupt politcal hacks that make a career of swindling all of us, and take 'opportunistically expedient' positions to seduce our votes. "Cuban" blood politicos are not sufficient enough for my vote. Even Miami has seen its sorry-share of corrupt 'Cuban' blood politicos. ENOUGH is ENOUGH. By the way, that RINO Kean is only one step above this hack. So, we're screwed either way (it's been that way for years).
