Cuba's First Independent Newspaper?
Via the absolutely irreplaceable Stefania, behold "La Primavera de Cuba" (Cuba's Springtime) what may be the first newspaper written and edited by Cuban independent journalists in the castro era:

Obviously a publication run by CIA operatives and funded by the Mafia. A couragous effort, I hope it will be around long enough to see a second printing.

Absolutely fantastic.
Some of the bravest Cubans on the island are the journalists, who at great risk to what little liberty they do enjoy, work to tell the real stories of the real Cuba. They are heroes, each and everyone.
Hopefully, there will be more than one edition.

I looked it up, it's a Swedish political party, the Christian Democrats, who owns the news paper. I have no problem with the Christian Democrats on this issue.
