We love the Peruvians, Part III

ALAN
In your ugly face, Hugo

Today President Alan Garcia of Peru verbally beat the crap out of Hugo Chavez again, blasting the castro minime for his sheer rottenness:

CARACAS, Venezuela: Peruvian President Alan Garcia railed against Venezuela's foreign policy and the country's president, Hugo Chavez, saying the leftist leader has used a mix of petrodollars, blackmail and insults to divide rather than unite Latin America.

Garcia told the Venezuelan daily El Universal in an interview published Sunday that Chavez "exercises power with a club or bag of money, blackmail and seduction.

Garcia's not going away. He's shaping up as Hugo's nightmare out of nowhere, the nightmare that won't go away and will only get worse. If anyone's fit to take out all the trash in our hemisphere, from the Gulf of Mexico to the shores of Vargas, it's Garcia.

This kind of dictator-blasting, to castro's prized protege, who's always functioned on his ability to intimidate other nations, has got to scare the heck out of Chavez, who like most bullies, is wholly without courage.

Here's another interesting thing: Garcia used to be a leftwing idiot leader, until he was thrown out of office in 1990 and then exiled himself to Spain, where he made friends with the great Carlos Alberto Montaner. Over Cuban dominoes in Madrid, Montaner turned him around and taught him sense.

But before that, Garcia was a street-fighter. He played all kinds of vile tricks on innocent teenage Alvaro Vargas Llosa, who was just the mere son of a political opponent, and did rough goon-squad stuff to other political dissidents. Why do I bring this up? To point out that he knows how to use violence and dirty tricks. I get the feeling he might find a way to carry the lessons of his past to his treatment of Hugo and is capable of not playing nice. Hugo, whose only opponents are decent people, would crap his pants in shock if he ran up against a real street fighter. At least based on his past, Alan Garcia is a six-foot-five street fighter who knows how to mess with people. Hugo's got a problem.

castro and Chavez have never seen anyone like this, someone who hates Hugo Chavez not based on anything to do with Bush, but because he detests who they are, what they do, and the results of their tyranny. Alan Garcia wants to leave Peru richer than he found it. That's one reason why he can't stand Chavez, among many. The other thing is, he hates crazed leftists, because he himself was once one, and feels deep shame for it. He wants to make up for it by stomping out other leftists. He's a real serious complication for Chavez and his masterplan to take over the Americas.

Totally independent of the U.S., Garcia's going to bat for all those oppressed by Chavez and castro in the hemisphere. He aims to beat the crap out of these tyrants.

We should give this guy anything he wants.

Good for Alan Garcia, it's about time presidents begin defending their country's democracy and freedoms.
I can still remember the president of El Salvador telling off Castro publicly in a Summitt, that was priceless. That guy had the courage that none of the other Latin American presidents had.

I suppose it's becoming increasingly ridiculous to keep kissing up to a dying failure. Chavez does it because he's truly infatuated with the rotting vulture, not to mention the fact that Chavez is rather stupid. If it wasn't for his oil money, he'd be a laughingstock. Garcia is hardly Mr. Wonderful, unless he's seriously changed his ways, but it's ceratinly nice to hear one of Cuba's supposed "brother nations" do something other than stab it in the back.

interesting to see the effect montaner has had on garcia, now convinced that latin america's fate lies in it's western liberal raices. not a communist or radical indegenus,ie sendero luminoso or even umala ollanta's racist ideology. garcia has become the prime couterforce against these and other strains of anti western ideals. for eg. chavismo and fidelismo. imagine a degenerate white basterd leading indian/meztizos on this anti american jihad. ludicrous comes to mind, but this is the reality. carlos alberto is right that latin america is more firmly rooted in christian past notwithstanding inca, aztec or mayan legacies. the reaction has begun, andiamo.

I dropped to the floor in laughter after reading this article. Chavez is nothing more than a goddamn bully and the best way to deal with a bully is knock his ass out cold. That is exactly what Garcia will do cause it sometimes it takes a bully to acutally beat another one, but with Garcia he is a REFORMED BULLY who can go back to his rough and tumble days if Chavez keeps acting like his runs the school yard.
