Que Dios la bendiga, Abuela.
We've all seen football players and other sports figures, when the tv cameras zoom in for a close up, wave and say "Hi mom!", paying homage to their mothers on National TV. Gonzalez gazed into the lens. ''Hi, abuela,'' he said.
Read the whole wonderful thing here. And make sure to take in the picture of Abuela Gonzalez, it'll touch your heart.
