EARLY retirement, or [perhaps] early buy-out??

How pathetic that, even by its own admission, the Herald chronicles Fiedler's career as it rose with the Hart scandal, and ended with another similar fiasco.

The Minneapolis Start-Trib is no bastion of fairness either.

I believe Mr. Fiedler was given his walking papers. Early retirement is his option since quite possibly he has enough seniority at the Herald. Tsk, Tsk, I don’t believe Tommy had planned to “retire” this early.

À propos de Tom Fiedler’s Pulitzer Prize award… It is quite fitting, considering Mr. Joseph Pulitzer along with William Randolph Hearst were the fathers of YELLOW journalism.
