Sharpen those keyboards, folks...
We have another Cuba "expert" - you know the kind, travel to Cuba, spend a few days talking with the "locals", havea nice three course dinner with Ricardo Alarcon, and Viola! - joining the blog ranks who will most certainly be yet another mouthpiece for the holier than holy, superkalifragilisticexpiallidociuos, castro regime.
It never ceases to amaze how the arrogance of some people, coupled with their complete naivetee and myopic miscomprehension from the periphery plus their willful ideologically induced blindness, produce such completely self-assured, modern day emperors with no clothes.
Here's a suggestion for Mr. Clemons:
Dont call you new blog "theHavanaNote.com" a more apt appellation would be "MiraQueComoMierda.com."
Sapingoide.

How 'bout "metanoenlahabana.com?" The pun-ic possibilities are endless...and descriptive.

We should do like they do at the Miami Dolphins home games at Dolphin Stadium, when the opposing team gets set to run out onto the field before the game starts: "Let's give him a warm South Florida welcome!" :-)

Yeah. I'm seeing people coming out in blogs all of a sudden saying lauditory things about Castro's regime. Like here:
Has there been some sort of push in the blogosphere the last few months by Castro supporters to say good things about the Cuban government? I don't have all the links at hand, but it's like since January, I've tripped over comments in blogs where I don't normally expect to see folks talking about Cuba. It may be a coincidence, and the numbers aren't that large, but I have been noticing them lately.
