Yep, Florida is full of little gems like that. The state's historical link with Spain and colonial Cuba is something that is often overlooked.
Another example: The city of Ocala in north-central Florida was once known as Marti City.

Henry,
I live in So California and while traveling withint he state I saw a great old town called Solvang. I think it is an old Dutch town with lots of charm and one of the old Spanish Missions is there. My family and I took the tour and noticed that the original Padre was buried in the church(typical)and the tombstone read that he was born in Havana, Cuba.
