Oliver Stone's new documentary project (Updated)

Update, July 3: It seems that even his fidel castro bona fides aren't enough for the Iranians:

Iran rejects Stone film request

[. . .]

"We believe American cinema is void of real art and culture and largely used as a mouthpiece," he added.

Despite the remarks by Kalhor, Stone is regarded within cinema circles in Islamic Iran as a distinguished filmmaker.

[My emphasis, I guess they watch liberal movies too]

I wonder if he will glorify him the way he did Castro...and maybe sport the ridiculous mustache too along with a beard.

strange....read the article expecting to find lots of "disgusting" gay sex between 2 repressed Islamic men, but nothing. Maybe its George's homophobia kicking in again. As for Ahmadinejad, his weird religious views are scary. But George Bush has been getting a little wacko lately claiming he talks to God who tells him he is on the right path in Iraq. Strange, I recall the Pope telling him NO in no uncertain terms. People who use religion to go on killing sprees are all fakes in my book.

Obviously, Mic O'Jones (cute name BTW), you didn't get the movie reference. Your loss.

"We believe American cinema is void of real art and culture and largely used as a mouthpiece"...

Agree 100% !... It is a mouthpiece for communist, totalitarians, dictators, and mass murders as the Argentinean bastard all over the planet. He got THAT right.
