I haven't the foggiest idea how to spell the damn word but . . . that sort of bicycle turned moped is called a riquinbili - very illegal as they are somewhat dangerous. one of my cousins had one until he got busted and lost the thing. talk about Cuban ingenuity!

Can't get over the expression in the face of Cuban children I've seen recently. Runs the gamut from cheerful to resigned.
