de la Cova knows his subject

I was fortunate enough to attend Professor Antonio de la Cova's presentation of his new book, The Moncada Attack, Birth of the Cuban Revolution at the University of Miami's Koubeck Center today.

Dr. de la Cova gave a fascinating presentation where he expounds on the events leading up to and immediately following that fateful July 26th in 1953 when the future of nation was irrevocably changed. I was humbled to be mentioned, by name, by Dr. de la Cova as he discussed how moved he was to be in the presence of 3 generations of Cuban freedom fighters. Tony also penned an equally humbling inscription on my copy of the book. If you are in Miami I urge you to attend one of the following additional presentations by Professor de la Cova. If you are a student of history you won't regret it.

Saturday, 28th of July, 3 PM
Casa del Preso 1140 S.W. 13 Ave.
Miami, FL

Saturday, 28th of July, 7 PM
Books and Books
265 Aragon Ave.

Monday, 30th of July, 7 PM

Thanks Tony, your kind words are undeserved but appreciated nonetheless.
