Ok, I expected to see some reasonable editing to conserve space, correct typos, etc., but this was outright, blatant manipulation of text to support their view! What would the Herald do if someone purchased a full-page ad (or at least half a page) and published this same exact letter, showing the public how the Herald manipulates things!

Here is my response to Paul Crespo's e-mail, which was also copied to the editors at the Miami Herald.
Paul,
The Miami Herald did not fire Ana Veciana-Suarez after she admitted being a liar and was a convicted perjurer.

The Miami Herald has also refused to investigate allegations by a Cuban intelligence defector that Marifeli Perez-Stable, a member of their board of editorial contributors, was controlled by the Cuban DGI in the 1980s.

Given that track record, it seems that after Oscar Corral probably pleads guilty to a reduced charge, it will be business as usual for him at the Herald.

I love it. Time to go email the MSM which will, of course, ignore it. It's really rich, man!

I encourage all to follow this matter at the Herald Watch blog, for which there's a convenient link icon on the right sidebar here.
When and if you wish to write a comment, post it THERE, since that way the Herald people are sure to read it (no doubt they monitor that blog, especially now).

Oscar Corral was preaching morals in his underwear when busted negotiating the price of sex with a prostitute. Next time his wife is out of town, he should use self-service.
