Must be something in that thar corn!

You may have already learned that the Nebraska leadership is planning yet another trade trip to Cuba - its fourth, I believe - in order to sell more Nebraska agricultural goods to the Cuban government who will undoubtedy in turn sell it to someone else for a profit.

It's the same culprits as before, making Nebraska one of fidel castro's primary accomplices in the subjugation of the Cuban people.

Here's a handy quote from today's article:

Heineman said having established a presence in Cuba will make a long-term difference.

"They have made it abundantly clear, on more than one occasion, that they are going to remember who their friends are," he said. "And, right now, we have established a very good and very friendly relationship because we have been willing to go down there and compete."

That's right Gov. Heineman. We too, those on the side of a free and democratic Cuba, will also remember who our friends were, and let me make it abundantly clear right now: When Cuba's future begins after the castro dictatorial monarchy, you and your Nebraska opportunists will be atop the list of those who screwed the Cuban people for a buck. You better start looking into ethanol production right now, cause you aint selling a single grain of corn or anything else to a post castro Cuba.

Perhaps, Gov. Heineman, it would b a good idea for you to join your fellow Nebraskan and sue God.

Oh, and one more thing, Govenor. did you all have to sign one of them thar advocacy agreements?

I've been considering moving to Nebraska, but the Heineman/Hagel/Chambers axis is putting some weight on the other side of the scale...

The govenor of Nebraska can stick his corn up his ass. He can cornhole his mother. Sorry but I get really frustrated with these enablers.

The political stripe that has produced the current batch of RINOS (Republican in name only) as elected officials and the current bunch of Prez candidates (excluding Fred of course)comes from the blue blood Biz conservatives.

I would not even call them conservative because they only believe in making a buck. why else would the strong industry in the US over the last 20 years be exported to Mexico or china?

They want to make more money so they back the RINOS with $$$$ to keep the gravey train going. The trip to Cuba proves that they will place proficts over conviction, expansion over human rights. The Bible states that a false balance is an abomination. We know that all extremes are bad. These Blue bloods need to be taught a lesson.

Lets vote for hard core conservatives this coming election ya'll!

What really gets to me is the double standard!

For someone who has RUN for office, and has been ELECTED to his first full term on November 7, 2006, he has no qualms in DEALING with a TOTALITARIAN government that for 49 years have DENIED that same privilege to CUBAN citizens. This pillar of the community has -by his own admission- traveled to Cuba four times since his election. It’s really too bad -for the people of Nebraska- that Governor Heineman has chosen to align himself with a Communist government that’s on its way OUT.

Do you hear that PIMP Heineman? “You and your Nebraska opportunists will be atop the list of those who screwed the Cuban people for a buck.” If you think business is good now just think on what you’ll be missing out once Cuba is free.
