The 2007 Weblog Awards

Well, it's that time of year once again folks. The 2007 Weblogs Awards voting has begun and Babalu once again has the honor of being a finalist in the Best Latino, Caribbean or South American blog. It's a great honor for me and the Babalu family to be nominated for this award, and trust me, it pleases me to no end to have that privilege and recognition for all the hard work this past year.

However, I have asked that Babalu be removed from the ballot this year as I do not want to compete with our good friend George of The Real Cuba and I urge you all to cast your votes - on a daily basis - for him.

Ive stated this many a time here, but George really has been at the forefront of our little battle against castro on the internet for years. He more than deserves the honor and recognition for all the hard work and sacrifices he's made throughout the years.

So go right now and cast your vote for The Real Cuba. Every vote for George is a galletazo sin mano upside the head of the castro regime. Let's slap those commie bastards silly.

It seems 38 voters have decided to defy you. George was ahead with 48% of the voting.
