Amazing, didn't have any idea it was to that degree. Definitely something we would need to tap if change is going to occur. The undercurrents appear to be there, they show up in surveys as well, yet the conventional thinkers, apologists, and all their fellow travelers continuosly argue that it's all under control...BS!

Redneck, It's my understanding that this is a trailer for a longer documentary. I believe it's up at YouTube for promotional purposes. Also, note that it's about rock in Cuba, not just about PPR. Listen to to it carefully, you'll see.

A couple of observations.
First of all how clear-minded Gorki is. It's unbelievable. Unfortunately a lot of Cuban youths are disaffected and have no outlet or maturity to talk about Cuba's problems. Gorki sees it clearly and pulls no punches.
Secondly that freaky dude that's supposed to be a bridge between the musicians and the regime, he came right out and said "there are things nobody can say in Cuba, nobody."
Unbelievable that people still defend those assholes.

Ziva,
Thanks for posting this youtube video about Gorki. He deserves our continued support in everyway possible. The man is a hero with the courage of a lion and he's fighting our fight. The easiest way to support Gorki is to buy his CDs. These can be gotten at: http://pornopararicardo.com/
By the way, you know that if Gorki were a rocker fighting President Bush or some alleged right-winged US backed two-bit "dictator" [even if this "dictator" were democratically elected and posed no threat to the USA or to his own people], he would have become a cause celebre with everyone from Alanis Morrisette to the Dixie Girls tripping over themselves to sing his praises and an entire Grammy's show dedicated to Gorki! You might even have Bruce Springsteen coming out of the woodwork [whatever happened to him anyway? He used to be so big!] producing another "I Ain't Going to Play Sun City" in honor of Gorki, but alas, Gorki is a victim of Castro not of some "right-winged" US backed dictator!
