Once a Librarian, Always a Librarian
First Lady Laura Bush met yesterday with Cuban independent librarians Noelia Pedraza Jimenez, Roberto de Miranda, Iraida Rivas, and Nereida Rodriguez and her daughter Yurisel. Mrs. Bush spoke of her admiration for the work of the independent librarians in Cuba who provide a source of uncensored information to their countrymen at great personal risk, and expressed solidarity with them and their cause.

Of course, you will find nary a mention of this particular meeting in any MSM report.

The MSM will say nothing positive about the Bush family. They've brought class and civility back to white house. I shudder at a possible return of the embarrassing low life Clintons

Castro has now become the MSM's crazy aunt in the cellar that they hope no one will hear shrieking. If the MSM had any decency they would own up to their past support of the evil tyrant and come clean. But they will not do this until it is too late to save their credibility. As far as I'm concerned the networks are dog meat!

Is that...what...why isn't someone from the ALA sitting in one of those empty chairs? You know, the ALA that decries censorship and banning of books? ALA? ...

Hillary was an avowed thespian before she got married and she still practices that today after her marriage soured.

MIAMI, FL – Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-FL) today thanked First Lady Laura Bush for meeting via video conference with Cuban independent librarians Noelia Pedraza Jimenez, Roberto de Miranda, Iraida Rivas, and Nereida Rodriguez and her daughter Yurisel. During the video conference, the First Lady spoke of her admiration for the work of the independent librarians in Cuba, who provide a source of uncensored information to their countrymen at great personal risk, and expressed solidarity with them and their cause.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank First Lady Laura Bush, and President George Bush, for their continued and unequaled support of the right of Cubans to be free. The work performed by the independent librarians in Cuba, despite constant threats and harassment from the Cuban tyranny, is admirable. The First Lady’s solidarity is truly commendable,” said Congressman Diaz-Balart.
