More people died at Pearl Harbor than on 9/11.
Interesting that the Japanese used this as grounds under its pact with the axis powers to get Germany to declare war on the US. Hitler's biggest blunder no doubt. Hitler thought that by declaring war on the US the Japanese would invade Russia and split the Soviets armies into 2 fronts. Of course the Japanese didn't invade the Soviets. Hitler declared war on the US and we entered the European conflict which under our prior accords with the UK we provide priority to winning on the european theater.

Chispa, I appreciate the kind words. I've never served in the military but would have if called. As I told a Master Chief one time, I was deprived of an all expense paid trip to Southeast Asia by Richard Nixon when he ended the draft. He told me to be glad I missed that party. I so admire those who serve and always remember the sacrifices they make to keep the citizens of this country safe (and spoiled). If you served, thank you.
