The global warming scam
George made a brief post today about global carbon taxes that are being proposed at a worldwide meeting in Bali about climate change (or "Crimate Change" like they say in Kyoto, as you will soon see). Don't ask me how taxing carbon usage actually does anything except redistribute wealth but that's not what I want to bring your attention to right now. Instead take a look at this CBC Newsworld Documentary Special entitled "Doomsday Called Off". It's an hour long but well worth it if you want to hear a different perspective on climate change. The people interviewed in this documentary are not cranks, they include a pair of Harvard University scientists. They don't claim that warming isn't happening, but they blow some severe holes in the theories put forward by the IPCC.
