What's their name?

The caption for this AP photo begins, "fidel castro, the young anti-Batista Guerilla leader, center, is seen with two men who are unidentified."
Lazy morons, no wonder Cuba news is garbage.

Ah yes, tyrant jr. is there on the left. Poor bastard couldn't even grow a beard. And Camilo another poor bastard whose beard was too long for Fidel's liking.

That's Raul Castro, on the left, and Camilo Cienfuegos, with Thompson machine gun, behind Fidel Castro. Look closely. Do you see anything unusual about Castro?
Here is a larger image. Look again.

Note that he has left the two top buttons of his shirt open to reveal a religious medal hanging from his neck. It is of Cuba's patron saint, Our Lady of Charity, La Virgen de la Caridad. That was part of his fraud for seizing power.
Max Lesnick is another fraud. He never went to the Sierra Maestra. Lesnick mostly sat out the guerrilla war in Havana, where he tended a string of frita stands that he owned with Enrique Nuñez. He ventured once to the Escambray for a photo op with Menoyo and his Second Front of the Escambray buddies. Lesnick delivered some fritas and papas fritas.

Why is Castro holding a sniping rifle? Is it just a prop?

If the AP wasn't so sadly pathetic they would be laughable.
Idiots.

"Why is Castro holding a sniping rifle?"
Come on..., you really think that him and Raulita we're planning on getting 'up close' with the enemy???

Ah, well, you see, it's just Cubans, after all. It's not like it really matters or anything. They're all the same anyhow. As long as they're suitably "colorful" or "picturesque," who cares about names?

Marx Lesnik does make a good frita! He is an expert at shaking the paper bag with the papas fritas. Lesnik did get arrested by the Batista police once. They falsely accused him of using horse meat to make the fritas he sold on his stands and they punched him in the eye.

From cooking horse meat to licking horse "El Caballo" ass. He'll get what he deserves in the end.

Yellow stripped fifo never had an “encounter of the third kind” with anyone during his so called revolution. In fact, he didn’t even participate on the attack at the Moncada Barracks, arriving only after the whole thing was almost over.

The telescopic sight hunting rifle was also used as a fraud to trick Castro hagiographer and NY Times journalist Herbert Matthews. In this article on Feb. 24, 1957
http://www.latinamericanstudies.org/cuban-rebels/matthews.htm
Matthews wrote about Castro:
"He was dressed in an olive gray fatigue uniform and carried a rifle with a telescopic sight, of which he was very proud. It seems his men have something more than fifty of these and he said the soldiers feared them."
Castro would later admit in 1959 that was the ONLY telescopic sight rifle the rebels had, not the "fifty" stated by Matthews.
