Freedom Flight

If I am not mistaken, this is one of three planes awarded to Ana Margarita Martinez by the US Government from the Cuban property they had impounded as a partial payment for damages she won in her successful lawsuit against the castro regime. She then donated the aircraft pictured to Cuban-American artist Xavier Cortada.

It is now becoming an exhibit to the casue of freedom in Cuba at FIU. Read all about it HERE.

Yes, that is her plane. She wasn't mentioned in the story because the lawyer didn't want to make the display "political." So, we'll just omit that piece of history (that she was awarded three planes in her rape case against castro's regime) from the record, if that's ok with everyone.
