Great post and quote Val!

I wish we had someone with President Lincoln's character and vision today!!

I wish you well :) Melek

"The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew, and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country." ~ Lincoln's Second Annual Message to Congress, December 1, 1862.

This is exactly why the US government must right the wrongs committed against the people of Cuba. Our government, supposedly representing the land of the free and the home of the brave, is in collaboration with castro regime, and we will pay for this injustice.

For all his flaws and he had a few...all presidents as humans do, he was one of the greatest presidents.
