Oh Say Can You See.....

Update: My husband will be sworn in on April 7th!!!!!!!! Thanks to all the well wishers.

Tomorrow at 2pm people. 2pm. What happens you ask?

My husband will have his N-400 interview and test. Yup you read right his N-A-T-U-R-A-L-I-Z-A-T-I-O-N. Well, at least the first major step; with any luck he'll swear in time to register to vote.

Pretty soon we'll have another vote among our ranks. Another non-Cuban to help us spread the truth to those who think our heritage discredits what we say.

Keep us in your prayers so that everything goes smoothly and he aces the test!

Congratulations Ventanita. So, your husband is non-Cuban and he will vote with us! That calls for a toast!

By the way, where is he from?

". Another non-Cuban to help us spread the truth to those who think our heritage discredits what we say."

What?

Congrats.

Yeah rrod, some people think that the simple fact that we are Cuban discredits us. What she's saying is that now we have another ally in getting the truth out.

Henry, I've been around a loooong time and never heard it put that way. To be honest I've heard ugly statements about the Cuban refugee/political prisoners/exiles while in Europe. But nothing like that here at home.

Ventanita,

That's great! Good luck to your husband ... and
C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E!!!!

I wish you well :) Melek

rrod,

I don't think everyone in America thinks that way, but certainly the liberals and the leftists discount what we say because as exiles we are by default right-wing reactionaries.

We deal with that crap every day.

RROD, Henry pretty much explained what I meant.

Melek, Thank You!!!

Ray, my husband is Chilean; and trust me when I say it's been a long road in educating him (easily) and his family (a bit harder) on the lies of the regime.

Good luck to us tomorrow!!!

Henry, thanks for explaining what I meant; I think only another fellow Cuban-American would've known what the heck I was saying!
