Capitalism and Environmentalism...
Not mutually exclusive.
I urge everyone to take a look at this 5-part Uncommon Knowledge series with Peter Robinson (each part is only 7-8 mins long.. Robinson's guest is T.J. Rodgers, the founder and CEO of Cypress Semiconductor Corp., chairman of SunPower Corp and a self-described libertarian. Of particular importance is part 2 and part 4, where Rodgers and Robinson explore the incredibly flexible theory of man-made global warming. In part 5, Rodgers exposes the scam that is corn ethanol and its biggest proponent ADM (Archer Daniels Midland).

Part 2

Henry,
I don't have the time (unfortunately) to look at these five parts. However, even though we can say that the enviromentalist movement has been hijacked by anti-capitalists I don't think theory wise they are mutually exclusive, and both can exist within the same individual. But then again it depends on what your definition of the environment is.
You can protect the environment various ways without infringing in a capitalist economy.
I'm so tired of leftwing radicals who are many times a minority in numbers having loud voices.
