Tomorrow the citizens of the Bolivian province of Santa Cruz will go to the polls to vote for a referendum that will grant the province autonomy from the Bolivian government of Evo Morales. Seeking protection from Morales’ castroistic policies, which include expropriation of private property and businesses, the elected officials of Santa Cruz are all too aware the effects such larcenous actions have had on Cuba and recently Venezuela at the hands of chavez, the simian monarch. The richest province with the most natural resources in Bolivia, Santa Cruz is well aware that they would be the first to be looted by the new feudal lord, Morales.

Anti-autonomy protestors organized and funded by the Morales regime have hit the streets to rally against what they call a divisive referendum. Morales’ goal is to keep Bolivia united—a country united under his complete and total control. This is how castro, Inc. did it, this is how chavez is trying to do it, and this is how Correa in Ecuador is trying to do it. It is a formulaic approach that has gained much popularity among South America’s dictators, despot wannabes, and tyrants in waiting; unite your country under one singular misery—all, but the elite, suffer and struggle equally.
The citizens of Santa Cruz, however, have different plans. They will divide and not be conquered

I hope Santa Cruz gets their vote through, but at the same time they need to give the native Indians opportunities. The main problem with Latin American countries is the big gap between rich and poor. That's why we are seeing leftist rulers sprouting up.
