Los Ponchos Rojas
While the citizens of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, exercise their right to determine their own future, Evo Morales' thugs wait for their leader's order to attack.
This group of Morales supporters, the Ponchos Rojas, who had been given military status by Morales only to rescind it after complaints from the Bolivian military, are armed and ready to attack. They have sworn to "fight to the death," if Santa Cruz dares to defy the will of their leader.
Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

AlJazeera's been busy making inroads in Latin America to cover news in their jihad to gain respectibility as a legitimate press outfit.
Now we can see the results with this puff piece which, if I listen carefully between the lines, is a little partial to Morales and his efforts to redistribute wealth to the indigineous population that (surprise!) is ardently supporting him. I don't believe for one nano-second that Morales wants the red ponchos to "lay low" as they claim. He's got 'em in his back pocket in case the card game gets close. For the sake of the innocent who get caught in the cross-fire, I do hope the situation doesn't escalate and turn into civil war. Then we'll probably see el seboruco de Venezuela insert his claws into the conflict and milk it to no end.

This morning I heard a little piece of one of the speeches the fat monkey from Venezuela gave this weekend, and he dared to state that if something were to happen to Evo, he'd send the Venezuelan military into Bolivia. He also sent a message to the Bolivians that are against Evo, that they'd know what a Vietnam War would be like (I guess that was a threat to let them know they wouldn't win, even if they got rid of Evo. How can so many people let this man keep uttering such crap?
