Breaking: Obama resigns from church

Barack Obama has quit Trinity United Church of Christ, the campaign confirmed on Saturday.
The Democratic front runner has been a member of the Chicago church for over 20 years and has credited its largely African-American community and activist-based teachings with shaping his identity and political voice.
The church was swept into the center of controversy in April when the media began airing fiery tidbits from sermons of Obama’s long-time Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Obama quickly quieted the storm by delivering a well-received speech about race. He later more harshly absolved his ties with Wright after he continued to make divisive comments.
Trinity was thrust to the center of another media storm this week when Rev. Michael Pfleger, a former advisor on the Obama campaign’s Catholic advisory council and a long-time friend of the candidate, delivered a racially-fueled tirade against Hillary Clinton.
“When Hillary was crying, and people said that was put on—I really don’t believe it was put on,” the white pastor told the predominantly black audience. “I really believe that she just always thought: ‘This is mine. I’m Bill’s wife. I’m white and this is mine.’…and then out of nowhere came ‘Hey, I’m Barack Obama.’ And she said, ‘Oh, damn. Where did you come from? I’m white. I’m entitled. There’s a black man stealing my show.”
In a statement issued on Thursday, Obama said he was not at church during the sermon and that Pfleger’s “backward-looking” remarks were “deeply disappointing.”
Clinton campaign spokesman Howard Wolfson responded with harsh words for Obama for not rejecting Pfleger’s statements. “We are disappointed that Sen. Obama didn’t specifically reject Father Pfleger’s despicable comments about Sen. Clinton,” Wolfson told reporters.
Obama campaign spokesman Robert Gibbs said Obama’s departure from his long-time church was “effective immediately.”

He should have never belonged in that church to begin with.
A decent, honest, patriotic American cannot belong in such a church, period.

He's just another slimey, lying politician who is peddling his snake oil, while covering up the dangerous ingredients. This line from the report says it all "activist-based teachings with shaping his identity and political voice." He has an affinity toward those disgusting teachings, and quitting the church will never change that. I just read where Mark Steyn (Canadian Conservative) calls Obama's wife a "conventional university socialist." Those two were made for each other, and both of them fit perfectly into the hate-filled, anti-US, pro-left-wing teachings of Trinity Church. Quitting it doesn't change a thing.

Change my ass. He's an opportunist of the worst kind. He will use whomever to get an advantage and then throw you under the bus. Rev. Wright was right about Obama. He's nothing but a politician of the worst kind.

I've said it before: the Obama's are Marxists.
But Obama is also a politician. Or to paraphrase Rev. Wright just another politician.
But I'll go further: he hasn't got any vision - he would have quit this church 4 years ago prior to his run for Senate if he had vision, he hasn't got any backbone - "I could no more disavow Rev. Wright than my own grandmother" and here he is throwing his entire chuch under the bus 6 weeks later, and given his seemingly endless streams of gaffes he doesn't seem to be nearly as smart and well-spoken as we where led to believe.
The dictators in the axis of weasels are licking their chops over an obama presidency.

Here is may rant: What we need is a plain gravity minded Andrew Jackson like real man to lead us, someone who would'nt give a crap about legacy and idiotic libraries on his name, all we get is gov. grant educated marxist lawyers who never really swang an ax in their lives backed by the Holliwood liberal arts produce-nothing sissies, as far as the World better their heads kicked in than ours that is just the way is always been, nobody forces anyone to sign a contract with the military nowdays, everyone is there 'cause they want to be there and the Armed Forces have but one mission: kill them before they killus. Only Cuba can save itself now by their own desire to be free, right now we are talking about saving America the last refuge of the persecuted.
