Report, fidel had 5th operation
Last night on local television Dr. Jaime Suchliki of the University of Miami's Institute for Cuban Studies stated that he had received a report from what he described as a credible source that fidel had undergone yet another surgery. He noted that by his count this the fifth surgery for the chairman emeritus of castro, inc. since the summer of 2006. Notably on the web there are rumors that fidel is dead. One day we're gonna be right. I mean how many surgeries can a viejo cagalitroso have?

Boy, if the invisible dictator is finally "dead" I cant wait 'til we hear the first "Cuban government had Tim Russert killed to distract media and downplay fidel's death" conspiracy theory.
Im my humble opinion, the bearded bastard hung his sneakers long ago. Ive no reason whatsoever to start believing the Cuban government now.

I'm a regular reader of your blog, and I hear alot of Cubans talking about the excitement they'll show the day Fidel dies. Will this be overshadowed by the fact that Cuba is still being ruled by communists? I can understand the joy of the death of someone that tortured, slaved, murdered and did many other things, but the reality is is that Cuba isn't free. I'm a Guatemalan-American, and I pray for a free Cuba as well!!

You have it about right. There will be celebrations but it won't mean Cuba is free. After 50 years most Cubans want something to celebrate.
