I guess 30% is lookin' pretty good about now
Congress, personified by the lovely, vibrant, plasticized Speaker of the House, DEMOCRAT Nancy ("The War is Lost") Pelosi, has some pretty low approval ratings, now in the single digits, according to Rasmussen:
I guess 30% is lookin' pretty good about now. Heh heh heh. How about them Dems!

Classic!
But of course they'll blame Bush for that too.
My new motto re: libs/Dems
"Let them lose their souls."

Since the country is pretty much divided 50/50 between libs and conservatives, this means that about 82% of liberals can't even tolerate the current lot of bozos in Congress.
Sweet.

Could this poll actually mean that Pres. Bush is about 3 TIMES MORE POPULAR THAN CONGRESS? Inquiring minds would love to know. -S-

george-
if the approval rating of congress is so low, do you think that this will reflect in the november races. i think individually, republicans are looking at an uphill battle in this election cycle. i'd be interested in your comments.
Thanks,

I think Republicans will continue to lose until they re-embrace their core conservative beliefs -- and mean it. No more deals with Ted Kennedy or Russ Feingold, no more bipartisan bullshit, fight for your principles and continue to fight.

They're grading on a curve, they haven't done anything to rate that high. They took forever
to fund the troops, they still haven't actually
updated the FISA rules, they have done nothing to promote exploration of energy; and they spent their oversight mandate investigating steroid taking baseball players and the elusive Karl Rove over some crybaby US Attorneys who were derilict in their duties.
