Thanks for the beautiful picture. I hope we also are aware that National Geographic, that esteemed old American institution of Yankee blue bloods and society philanthropists, hasn't been very sympathetic or kind to the cause for liberty in Cuba, and its view of Cuban Americans, and instead has painted a very ambiguous center left portrayal of Cuban reality.

In the 50s and early 60s they were a very anti communist magazine, alas, as the 70s and the 80s rolled by, and moral and political values slipped in America (thanks baby boomers) their political views became more leftward and the notion of there is no evil in the world - only differing humanities began to take root.

I ended my National Geographic society membership many years ago.

NG is still the creme de la creme for photography. My dream is to be published one day in their magazine.
