Pelusa sighting

I was having lunch with Val at the Biltmore on Wednesday afternoon. We were meeting with some folks that work for an NGO that does work in Cuba. All of a sudden, Nancy Pelosi walks in and zips by with a couple of body guards. Too bad old frozen face didn't stop to chat. She was in town promoting her book and no doubt helping Joedilocks fund raise.

Barf ~ but oh well, she needs to hawk the book, it's not selling despite all the hype (see
Drudge's entry on it); I could not find exact figures on Nielsen or Amazon or B&N, but surely the MSM will inflate the numbers.

After reading excerpts and some reviews of the book, it looks like a puff piece on the virtues of female tenacity & success, all spawned by (and credited to) the feminist movement.

Yeah. Right. This from one of the most high-maintenande KEPT WOMEN in Congress.

Gigi, honey, you're taking this all wrong. You're assuming there's honor or sincerity in politics, as opposed to opportunism and hypocrisy. Yes, the ugly bug-eyed bitch is an embarrassment, more so than usual, but tell it to those who have been voting to keep her in office. Unfortunately, shit happens, just like stupid voters.
