Pro-castro party in LA

I know, I should keep my cool, stay above the fray, but I can't help it, these utopian kool-aid drinking castro cheerleaders really just piss me off. Pro-Cuba celebration my ass. As Marc Rubin so eloquently stated, and Henry reminded us, I paraphrase: fidel castro has no right to negotiate for, and does not represent the Cuban people. Cuba belongs to the Cuban people, not their oppressor.

The party is here, and was held without incident, in spite of threats from "right-wing-terrorists," i.e. Cuban-Americans. Last I checked, comments were open. Please, share your feelings.

They are moderating our comments, so you know what that means! Here is mine:

"How quaint, like those old geezers who still bring out Stalin posters, their medals, and march to the tune of martial muzak on a cold Moscow morning. call me when you have a Pol Pot celebration will ya!

Hasta la locura siempre co-me mierdas!"

What can you expect from ANSWER? A World Workers Party front!

In case Castro's scrubers show up, here's mine:

"I take it all thoses who attended the party are the people who helped Castro throw artists, journalists, doctors, homosexuals, disabled into Cuban prisons?"

Ahh, nothing like the sight of a couple of former Soviet moles and young potheaded future college dropouts advocating a lost cause to remind one that people are stupid.

You want to talk terrorism? Fine, let’s talk terrorism. The very first terror training camps were opened in Cuba after Fidel’s revolution. Look up Camp Zero. Alumni of these camps include such shining advocates of human rights as Robert Mugabe, Yassir Arafat, Ho Chih Minh, and Carlos the Jackal, who orchestrated the murder of Israeli athletes in the Munich Olympics.

The most ironic thing is that you people rape the first amendment to publicly support a government that silences free speech. Were you to trhow a parallel party in Cuba, you’d be jailed for “social dangerousness”. I assume by now the Patriot Act is starting to look pretty good by comparison, huh?

I assume most of you like punk music, right? Look up Cuban band Porno Para Ricardo. They are banned by the Cuban government because of their views, and have to hold their concerts underground, and they still generate more support than pro-government rallies.

I would also be interested as to how many gays attended your little rally. If any did, I suggest you read up on the UMAPs, then tell me what you think about the revolution.

BTW, I’m 19 and born in America, so any Julius Streicher-esque attempts to paint me as an octogenarian smoking a cigar and whining about my multi-acre plantation where blacks and mullatoes slaved away to keep me rich will fail miserably. You may continue smoking your pot and chanting “viva la revolucion”, which I assume is your only phrase of Spanish. As for me, I’m going to do something meaningful with my life and allow you to wallow in the pathetic darkness of your odious ignorance.
Good Day.

I have many liberal friends in L.A., and I wouldn't be surprised if they attended that rally. I've lead them to many websites like babalublog.com so they can see the other side to it, and a REAL perspective about live in Cuba.

My list of Ass-Holes that should be denied entry in a free Cuba keeps getting longer.

Interesting how there is no author credited with this article? Go ahead, show your colors, in fact, I would so much enjoy giving you a megaphone so that when you speak people will have no difficulty in ridiculing your ignorance, go ahead, show up to Obama meetings so that the American people can see all of you dolts who throng towards him.
