Hurricane Tropical Storm Fay: A Crap Shoot

"You can never prepare enough for a hurricane tropical storm," I always say. In the case of Hurricane Tropical Storm Fay, Im totally glad I prepared properly. Battened down the hatches, as they say. And, of course, spent a fair amount of hard earned cash for Hurricane Tropical Storm Supplies.

It's a good thing, too. We had some major Hurricane Tropical Storm Fay damage.

Hahaha.

My preparations included moving a bench from my front porch to the garage, moving my BBQ about 15 feet closer to the house and putting down some towels on the inside of my front door because when it rains hard some water always seeps under the brass door stopper thingy. I think that I could have gotten away without any of that back-breaking prep.

Wow, it's gonna take you a while to recover from that one, huh?

Third year in a row they've breathlessly predicted another round of cataclysmic Cat-5's as bad or worse than 2005, and so far ZERO/ZIP/NADA.

2006 and 2007 were the quietest in a LONG time. Yes, it's still early and hurricane prime time is just barely underway, but I'll go out on a limb and say the Incredible Flexible Theory is gonna get the Three-Peat.

By the way, was the local reporting on Fay as full of hyperventilation as it seemed to be in the national media?
