The Democrat National Convention? No, no, my friends, I'd rather be watching something more wholesome, like Castro's step daughter acting out her inner demons on the Bang Bros. network!

Really now!

The Democrat National Convention should have a parental guidance notification at the begining of broadcast.

I always watch reruns of George Lopez, and that won't change. Speaking of that, I have a question for the Cuban Americans. If you have ever watched this show George Lopez has a father-in-law that's Cuban, Victor Palmero. George and his mother, Benny, will crack jokes about Victor's Cuban background, and how Cubans are (I can't remember the jokes but it's usually references his coming off the boat, Castro and how he talks). Would you guys find this offensive coming from a Mexican-American?

I will watch the Dem convention in between a couple of rounds of Madden 2009.

You can't fight the enemy if you don't know what they are saying or doing.

I'm sure I'll yell a few obscenities at the screen and I'll wear sunglasses when Pelosi shows up. On my HDTV, I'm sure her mug will not be a pretty site.

I'm with Mike. I will watch as much as I can take of the convention, it might just be a few minutes if the bs gets to be too much.

j2tharome I don't particularly like George Lopez and his brand of humor. He not only talks down on Cubans and makes fun of them on his show, but also in some of his performances. He hosted some kind of award show a few years back that took place here in Miami and in his pre-show performance he spent most of it making fun of Miami and the Cubans here. He would not like it if a Cuban did the same thing but in reverse. I don't believe in making fun of other nationalities in a public or televised format, it just helps to perpetuate the stereotype. If you want to make fun, do it in private, among friends and family. I'm sure we have all done that at some point in our lives. Just my two cents.
