The Scum Sucking Leftist Pigs Are Grasping For Straws Again

straws.jpg

I read the news today, oh boy, and listened to the Today Show on my drive in to work, and what did they talk about? Other than the mandatory news about Gustav (no mention of man made global warming though), they spent all this time about Veep Candidate Palin's pregnant 17 year old. Who the f**k cares and what does this have to do with her qualifications? Answer McFly? Nothing. It has nothing to do with nothing.

But that's the MO of the left. Making a big deal about nothing. Now if the 17 year old had killed the baby via abortion, they would be making a hero out of her. But that's the left folks. You read the op ed of Eugene "I See Dildos in those Ads" Robinson today where he says that McCain is old and had cancer and picks an experienced VP candidate...oh woe is me. But says nothing about the inexperience of the top banana on the Dem ticket.

Palin can learn the ropes as VP on the job. Obama cannot. These illiterate liberals never read history but their best President in over half a century was a Veep with no executive experience; a Veep who was out of loop on everything and who spent his time as Veep playing poker and drinking with his Senate buddies -- that was Harry Truman who made the most difficult decision a President ever had to make. The left hates Harry Truman but loves JFK... why? Truman was not an elitist prick like those lefty politicians of yesterday and today that makes liberal commentators get stiffies and/or their panties wet.

Yet they portray the libs Veep candidate as a "lunch bucket democrat." As noted today in the WSJ,

"Ms. Palin might, for example, point out that while the Senate offers members like Mr. Biden a generous pension, he opposes private Social Security accounts that would give the same to, say, a nurse.

Or that while Mr. Biden and Barack Obama have chosen upscale private schools for their own children, they are reluctant to support efforts that would help inner-city moms and dads do the same for their children.

Or that Mr. Biden not only opposes drilling today, in 1973 he voted against the Trans-Alaska pipeline that provides oil for American consumers -- and jobs for American workers."

Does the left talk about that? No. They talk instead about who's pregnant, who's sleeping with who, who has a 20 year old traffic ticket, etc., you see, to the left, that is what matters; not the real issues.

It's a popularity contest. The left will never put the country ahead of politics. Pure and simple. The new left which festers in the blogsphere is ever worse. But they act at their own peril because the lefty elite lives under the mistaken belief that everyone (other than Republicans) think like they do. Their way may be the way of life in Berkley, but it surely is not the way of life in Sandusky Ohio.

Again, to quote that commercial we saw as kids, "Why do you think they call them dopes."

Here's a good article on how the media has turned on McCain as the election nears. What did you expect? The liberal media has the moral wherewithal of a castrated duck.

Ciao Infidels

UPDATE: Check this out how the lefty wankers are trying everything to tie Palin to Alaska secessionist and to Pat Buchanan all of which are false. They are desperate and doing the same crap that their Messiah says are despicable politics.

Palin is more qualified than Obama.

They have to grasp at straws; it's all they have.
The ferocity with which they are attacking her personally says it all. They have nothing and know they will lose in November.

Obama's promiscuous mama was 18 years old when she had him out of wedlock. The irresponsible father fled to Africa and saw his son only once later in life. Free-love Obama's mama then hooked up with an Indonesian muslim who soon grew tired of raising someone else's child and little Obama got shipped off to his "white folk" grandparents (as he calls them). They raised and educated him. The MSM avoids reporting on Obama's family background and Obama skirted the issue in his autobiography.

"Obama's promiscuous mama was 18 years old when she had him out of wedlock"

He actually brought this up yesterday (?) and said personal lives relating to children should be off limits.

If Mc would've selected Kay Bailey Hutchison we would not be having the issues that we are having now. She's more qualified than Palin and much more so than Obama. The problem with picking someone like Palin is that we can argue on whether she is more or less qualified than Obama but in the end, just having argument concedes grounds to the Dems. Hutchison has proven her mettle Mc screwed up.

Cardinal, I disagree on KNH. She's good, but pro choice and an insider.

This election is Obama's election to lose. McCain can still win this, but not without the conservative base coming out in droves.

If McCain gets the base, then it evens out the liberal base and leaves it to the indies and Reagan dems to make the difference.

Ohio is the key. Whoever wins Ohio wins the election.

Also, the polls are tight. Obama saw no bounce.

I think the liberal and media attacks will backfire.

Here it is:

the bounce is small and shrinking for Obama

When R Hunter Biden gets the scrutiny that Bristol Palin does, the media will have begun to do its job. Yeah, and the sun might rise in the west someday too.

Kay Hutchison has been divorced! OMG! And who knows, maybe she 'slept around' before she was married, or her kids might have been promiscuous. The point is, these are ordinary family problems in this day and age.

The thing that doesn't set well is hypocrisy and lying, the sort of thing you get with Bill Clinton and John Edwards.

Posted by: PTG [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 2, 2008 12:38 PM

Regarding HS Truman's lack of executive experience. Not so. As Jackson County Judge in Kansas City, actually an administrative job, he supervised a lot of public works, road building etc. Also, he was an officer in WW1- and a good one. So, HST had some executive experience.

This is the topic of the day everywhere I turn. I made the horrid mistake of reading an article on MSNBC, and just about puked at how blatantly they're atempting to manipulate the reader's mind. "A Republican who remained anonymous, said", "high ranking Repulicans believe" and a whole other bunch of BS.

Why can't they report on the Ayers problem? Clinton had his shlong blown in the OVAL OFFICE, oh! but the msm is concerned about a 17 year old pregnant girl who will get married and won't be in either of the offices up for election in November, and they don't give a hoot about drilling for oil, or terrorists that support Obama, or our taxes? WTF, am I in the Twilight Zone????

There are more people living in the borough of Brooklyn, New York (over 2 million) than all of alaska (670,000).

Let's call this for what it is, a calculated political maneuver to spark the interest of a disaffected base. Which is fine, I guess, that's politics. But to say that Palin is qualified or experienced, no joda chico.

Posted by: Cucuruchu [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 2, 2008 01:30 PM

Lori, remember, the liberal's reporting of reality is a work of fiction promulgated by leftist 60's era hippies who still have traces of LSD in their blood. The left has nothing so they throw whatever crap they have against the wall and see if it sticks. Remember, under the liberal agenda, abortion rather than birth is the mantra.

Tex, Truman was still no more than a city clerk in Independence who got the job as a political favor from the local Democratic machine. He went to the Senate and his claim to fame was sitting on a committee investigating fraud in military contracts.

he was put on FDR's ticket and was virtually exiled and did nothing and had no clue as to what FDR did. The FDR elitists of the day were giving the same arguments about him not being able to to handle the job. Truman surpassed all expectations; put the country first; and was barely re-elected and did not run for a second term because the Adlai Stevenson liberal wing of the party pretty much assured him he could not win.

Yet his decisions: A-Bomb; Israel recognition, Marshall Plan; Truman Doctrine; Berlin Airlift; NATO -- etc., were vital in our survival against the growing soviet threat in the world at the time.

His downfall? the FDR holdovers in his administration many of whom had socialist tendencies.

Cucuruchu, so under your definition, then Obama is not qualified, Bubba was not qualified because Arkansas's population is less than Brooklyn, Truman should not have been qualified for the Veep position during a World War with only 1 senate term under his belt;

I mean you guys had Jimmy Carter, a governor of Georgia with a PhD in Nuclear Physics and he was inept as can be.

Posted by: Cigar Mike Pancier [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 2, 2008 01:44 PM

Cucuruchu,

Obama isn't from New York so I don't see the point.

The real point is that the GOP nominee for VP is no less qualified than the Dem nominee for President.

That's a fact. Is she green? yes. Is he green? Yes. But if I'm going to have a green president, I'd rather have it be someone with some merit in their political career.

Obama ran against Alan Keyes who didn't even live in Illinois to win his seat. C'mon.

Tex, Truman was still no more than a city clerk in Independence who got the job as a political favor from the local Democratic machine.
The point is that however HST got the position as Jackson County Judge- I am not disputing your version of how he got it(after all this was Boss Pendergast country)- HST performed rather well in it.

Posted by: GringoTex [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 2, 2008 02:50 PM

Tex, I love Truman, but we all know that if Truman came out today as a Veep candidate and was a republican, the media would be all over him saying he was a noodnik.

Posted by: Cigar Mike Pancier [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 2, 2008 02:58 PM

The perfect example of putting country ahead of politics was when Richard Nixon didn’t call the Democratic Party to task for cheating during the 1960 presidential election (which gave the presidency to John F. Kennedy).

The Democrats are foaming at the mouth because of McCain’s choice of VP. I can just picture them going through her life with a fine toothcomb digging up any dirt they can find. Shame on them for what they are doing to that poor girl. They should be more focused on John Edward’s illegitimate daughter and his infidelities. After all, wasn’t he not very long ago running for the highest office in the world?

I’m disgusted by how the MSM panders to Obama. I’ll be surprised if the Republican Convention gets any media coverage at all. Andrea Mitchell (MNSBC) is so totally biased towards Obama that on Meet the Press with Tom “we lost another state” Brokaw stated that “only the UNEDUCATED Hillary Clinton supporters would consider voting for Sarah Palin

Posted by: Firefly [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 2, 2008 03:25 PM

Firefly, I saw the MTP comment. What a bunch of elitist loons.

If I were McCain, I'd insist on getting out of the debate with Tom Brokejaw. It's going to be rigged. NBC has become the Obama network;

even the gov. of Penn. called them at it to their face.

Cigar Mike - sorry for answering late. I agree that KBH has problems with the base, specifically that one big one on abortion. Yet she wins Texas with ease and even her position on abortion has gotten fuzzier albeit not pro-life. She's also percieved as being more conservative than Mc (not hard). I just thought that she would energize enough of the base and then neutralize the Hillary voters. I don't see Hillary voters breaking for Palin. On top of that she's unquestionably more qualified than Barack and ground-breaking in her own right.

I think that the amazing thing about this election is that we are seeing how conservative this country is. By all rights Obama should be trouncing Mc. I still hold out hope but I don't think this pick is going to put us over the top.

Posted by: theCardinal [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 2, 2008 04:48 PM

the hardcore libs who voted for Hillary will never vote GOP. But the middle of the pack, the Reagan dems, have a lot of misgivings voting for Obama.

I recently ran into an old acquaintance, Jewish, Democrat, Liberal, Hillary Support; strong on Israel issues; and she flat out told me that she was sick of all these Obama-maniacs. She's voting McCain because as a mother of 2 small kids, she feels safer with him on the issues which concern her.

The GOP will take Texas so KBH would not add anything to ticket. If you look at past GOP victories, only Reagan had a Veep that was more moderate than him. Bush had Cheney; Bush 41 had Quayle (not a luster pick, but it did not lose him votes against Dukakis); Nixon had Agnew; Ike had Nixon.

With Palin, McCain sees his political soul mate; a reformer who's willing to put the country first over political self interest.

BTW, we're up 2 points in the Zogby poll today.

Posted by: Cigar Mike Pancier [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 2, 2008 05:06 PM

KBH adds nothing? Forgive me for not whooping it up for Palin's three electoral votes. I hope Palin does well because she has all the intangibles but she looks to me, right now, like a great 22 year-old with a rocket of an arm in Double A ball who has been rushed up to anchor a rotation. It can be done, but it's a gamble. Convenient for you to mention Zogby because on every single other poll we have lost ground. Tonight is make or break time. I'll be glued to my TV.

Posted by: theCardinal [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 3, 2008 02:39 PM

Lunch bucket democrat reminds me of another bucket. In Thompson's speech, he assured voters Obama and Biden aren't going to take any water out of your half of the bucket, they're only going to take it out of the other guy's half of the bucket.
