The Idiot's Guide to Media Bias

Shorter than Cliff Notes.

Here is perhaps the easiest, quickest lesson for those in Lala land - Like our frind Rick - who refuse to acknowledge the plain and simple truth that the Liberal Leftist Mainstream Media is in the pocket of the Democratic party:

Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin gets the official nod for Vice President of the US on the GOP ticket on a Friday morning and by the next Monday morning she and her family are being skewered in public for her teen daughter's pregnancy out of wedlock, by lefty blogs, newspapers, local media and huge media conglomorates like CNN, etal.

Vs.

Former two-time Democrat Vice Presidential Candidate John Edwards, who had an illegitimate child from an extra-marital love affair, as originally reported back in October of 2007 by the National Enquirer, was just recently and reluctantly criticized, but not skewered in kind, by the media despite the fact that the affair and birth took place while his wife was undergoing treatment for cancer.

One weekend versus nine months.

Here's a nother editorial on the smear canmpaign. The writer opines that the lefties are very scared of just how good Palin is, and this is the best they can do.

The sad thing about 'media bias' is that a very large number of Americans get all of their news and editorial opinions from the mainstream media. They don't call it "mainstream" media for nothing.

If these biased reporters and commentators keep hammering away at their twisted themes, a significant percentage of voters will be influenced. They know this, and are counting on those that don't use the internets or access non-mainstream news sources to believe what they say.

When Hunter Biden gets 1/10 the scrutiny than Bristol Palin does, I'll begin to believe that media bias is tempering. Until then the FEC should count the budgets of ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, PBS, NPR and major newspapers as in kind contributions to the Democratic Party.
