A not-so-veiled threat?
Here's a columnist from The Philadelphia Enquirer, Fatimah Ali, exhorting the masses to vote for Obama, or else:
If McCain wins, look for a full-fledged race and class war, fueled by a deflated and depressed country, soaring crime, homelessness - and hopelessness!
Read the whole thing here.

This just proves the kind of brainless corruption that the media left of this country employes. Its irresponsible and plays right into the hands of all those who wish this nation harm. How dare this idiot suggest that if his candidate loses a free and fair election, a class and rase war will happen in the United States. What is this mojon smoking?

Oh, she sounds like a reputable, trustworthy, credible type, all right. The paper should be embarrassed to publish such stuff unless it's in the form of a reader's letter to the editor. The fact they're paying the woman is, well, like the fact the Herald is paying Marifeli Perez-Stable...

"People are struggling, and the privileged are so out of touch they pretend it's OK that children go hungry... Every week, prices go up at the supermarket, and people are unable to feed their families. It already is dark and stormy for millions, who can't even afford pencils, book bags and lunch money for their children.."
Er ... how about getting a second job if you have to? Or, a job, period?
I concur with the posters here. It's another laundry list of Black-vitimization-bovine-waste in print. You need an oxygen mask to wade through the crap pile. She apparently didn't get the memo - hey, Ali, you've been living under a Dem majority the last 4 years.
She's clueless ... she must be describing her neighborhood in Philly, where decades of liberal politicians have turned the city into a dump. But it's to be expected should she turn out to be one of those trasnochados converts to Islam that dot the African American community. Her name is suspect to me. Doesn't she sound like Farrhakan?

Never mind her--what about the newspaper that employs her and thus implies its readers should be listening to what she has to say? That's the real scandal, the enabling of toxic bullshit.

Ms. Ali would better serve the Philly community by worrying about the city's black leaders inability to stop the insane murder rate of its own black population instead of making a bunch of BS speculations.
