Your dose of Uncommon Knowledge

The latest installments of Uncommon Knowledge with Peter Robinson have been posted at National Review Online. I can't say enough how much I love this series. Robinson always has top notch guests and discusses serious issues in a way that's entertaining. This time around his guest is novelist and columnist Andrew Klavan who has a new book out called Empire of Lies. Enjoy.

And for those of you who are interested in hearing the unvarnished version of the Great Depression and how the New Deal did or did not help to get us out of it make sure you watch this interview with Amity Shlaes:

I'm a big fan of Uncommon Knowledge. It's too bad they don't syndicate it on iTunes. Would be more convenient to keep up with it. So thanks for the reminder.

I quite enjoyed the Shlaes interviews a few weeks ago. One series about six weeks showed Victor Davis Hanson discussing the merits of Pat Buchanan's latest screed -- also good stuff.
