This is yet another example that Obama picked the wrong man for VP. He should've picked Edwards instead. Edwards would've declared that if he and Obama were elected, the man in the wheelchair would be able to rise and walk again. As an added bonus, that would've dovetailed nicely into the whole "Obama-as-Messiah" thing.
