The Cuban Katrina

Our friends at Investors Business Daily have published an editorial about the two hurricanes that recently hit Cuba. An excerpt:

What Castro really wanted was buried deep in his list of demands: that the U.S. provide trade credits to buy whatever he wants — with our money. Given his record of default, he seeks what will amount to a bottomless aid package, even as his regime's political prisons remain filled.

What kind of regime would turn down free aid and insist on stealing it instead? Only one that puts its own survival above that of its people.
