The wheels are coming off the cart...

At a rally down here in Coral Gables today, The One got heckled by an interesting group: "Blacks Against Obama."

But, but, but, I thought dissent was patriotic!

No, only paying more taxes is patriotic!

"Let's get back to work," he says. More telling everybody why we should all be depressed.
No thanks.

Buenisimo!! Welcome to Miami, Berrackobamination.

Note how Obama set up a phalanx of women behind him to show female support for himself instead of Palin. Then note that there are a lot fewer women in the crowd than men.

Heck with parting The Red Sea ...

Not only is 'The One' ... 'The Messiah' splitting the democrat party, the feminists, but now he's splitting the "black community" in this country?

And, once again, Obama successfully 'silences' the opposition ...

A Brave New World is not far off.

There were these folks, too, Alberto. Surprised that you don't mention them in the "fair and balanced" coverage that FreedomForCuba loves so much here.

Oh, and another question given that Val is so put off by Obama supporters using the telephone to express their opinions: Isn't this a violation of Obama's 1st Amendment rights to free speech?

This could be a put-up job to show he's not as radical as he really is...... he's a SAUL ALINSKY disciple

Not a fan. Won't vote for him.

But he handled it well. So well, I wouldn't show this video as proof of anything frankly.

Posted by: cheomedalla [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 19, 2008 08:44 PM

Come on, Ricky, you're not really surprised now are you? It hurts to watch your own feed on themselves, doesn't it?

It's your liberal lot in life, my friend; watching your party self destruct. I figure you'd be accustomed to it by now.

Watch out, Ricky, here comes another wheel careening off the cart--be careful. You'd bettter run for cover. You can blame it on Bush.

Posted by: albertodelacruz [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 19, 2008 08:46 PM

Cheomedella:

Handled it well? "Let's get back to work," a stroke of genius.

I think they're going to have to make his teleprompter a live deal where they can feed him the lines in situations like this. Then again, his handlers are liberals, so, there are no guarantees.

Maybe they can take a page from their rapid response brigades playbook and insist on having control of the media and their cameras when their own starts turning on them.

That lady with the "Republicans for Obama" sign was all over the Miami Herald blog - of course, they were drooling all over themselves. But look closely .... she's no student, no employee apparently, and maybe just a campus visitor. Hmmm.... she looks awfully, awfully lonely + out of place out there, doesn't she? Any other Bama backers with her? No? And she stands before the camera?

Oh, gee, could she be a .... plant?

Alberto: So because they're black, they're Democrats. Wow. That's certainly a stereotype and it borders on racism. But don't let that bother you, Alberto.

And when you get a minute, Al, check out who these guys really are and who is aligning themselves with Republicans these days.

Classy!

Do me a favor and do your homework before you post next time, Al.

Hey Rick -- do some of your own homework and take a look at the polling data over the last 30 years. Blacks vote consistently in the 90% range for Democrats.

Further evidence is the way black conservatives are treated by the black community. Voting Democrat has become so identified with "blackness" within the black community itself that black Republicans are considered not merely wrong but "race traitors" and "bootlicking Uncle Toms".

You can hide behind the skirt of accusations of "racism" if you want, but that's about as monolothic as voting blocs get outside of dictatorships.

Posted by: Zhangliqun [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 20, 2008 12:11 AM

Zhangliqun: I'll give you that blacks are overwhelmingly Democrats, but are you honestly ready to argue, and post on a national blog, that "the wheels are coming off" simply because persons of color showed disagreement with Obama's message? Is that accurate? Is that responsible, assuming, of course, that babalu is looking to be responsible. C'mon.

Especially given the info that I linked to, it's sort of like me posting a picture of 10 Cuban-Americans protesting John McCain and stating, "Are the wheels coming off?" And then finding out that the Cuban-Americans are nut jobs.

It's silly. And I think you know it.

"Alberto: So because they're black, they're Democrats. Wow. That's certainly a stereotype and it borders on racism. But don't let that bother you, Alberto."

Ricky, this election is certainly taking a toll on your mental state. When did I ever say, or imply, what you have attributed to me in your last comment? Don't worry, you don't have to answer. You'll just froth at the mouth and go into another one of your inane diatribes about conservatives and racism and us crazy, intransigent Cubans.

Save the wear on your neatly manicured fingers and keyboard, Ricky-boy--no one here really cares to know anyhow.

However, since I am a compassionate person and I care about my fellow man--be they liberal or conservative--I must suggest you seek professional help. The drug industry has come up with some incredibly effective drugs to address the emotional issues caused by apparent chemical imbalances you liberals tend to have during election cycles.

The first step is to admit you have a problem, Ricky. The next step is doing something about it.

Posted by: albertodelacruz [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 20, 2008 08:12 AM

Rick, I agree with your last comment.
I am really tired of identity politics. As I've said elsewhere, I like Palin because she says what I like to hear and she governs the way I want someone to govern. Her femalehood is not the reason I like her.
It would also be refreshing if we did not jump to conclusions, but stuck to ideas and facts. These protesters are not to be respected or rejoiced in. But neither do I like silly Obama ads that try to make it seem that Rush is anti hispanic when the ad makers know that he was quoting and mocking Mexican immigrant law. This kind of irresponsible distortion do not help our political discourse.
Good one, Rick. Keep us on our toes.

"I'll give you that blacks are overwhelmingly Democrats, but are you honestly ready to argue, and post on a national blog, that "the wheels are coming off" simply because persons of color showed disagreement with Obama's message?"

One other thing, Ricky, and I know this will be hard for your to comprehend, but try your best: the blacks protesting at Obama's rally yesterday is not the ONLY reason the wheels are coming off the Democrat party's fruit (pun intended) cart, it is only another indication of it. Combine yesterday's events with the remarks of other liberals in this country, and, if you are really honest with yourself, Ricky-boy, you will admit that your party is losing it. You have liberals calling for Palin to be gang-raped, Congressman calling her "disabled," and a slew of other vicious and personal attacks.

But I guess that is all the Democrats have left to fight against the Republicans. They cannot argue issues because for one, they are on the wrong side of most, and two, the one they chose to run for president is useless without a teleprompter. So, understandably, you guys are starting to get very nervous and are resorting to name-calling and obscene insults.

Go see a doctor, Ricky, you'll feel a whole lot better.

Well, the good news, Al, is that this post has sunk low enough that it's now going mostly unnoticed. The bad news is that I am going to continue to watch you flail about with your idiocy and point it out to everyone as many times as I can.

You're a rookie, Al. What you never want to to do is change the meaning of the post after someone has sliced you to shreds and pointed out that you're wrong. There may be other indications that "the wheels are falling off" the Obama campaign, but save that for another post. Bringing it up after I've had you for dinner makes you look extremely weak.

Good luck to you, Al. I'll be following you along the way and I'll be making sure to point out your foibles.

Oh, and one other thing. Putting up two responses to my one makes YOU look extremely hysterical. Write that one down, Al.

Nice try, Ricky boy, but you're a few decades late and more than few dollars short. But I understand; you don't have much else to say.

Continue "following [me] along the way," Ricky, you may learn something. Or, it's going to be a long, painful journey.

The choice, however, is yours, my friend.

Alberto,

I looks to me like with friends like Ricky Boy you don’t need enemies.

Posted by: FreedomForCuba [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 20, 2008 11:15 PM

Ricky boy is neither friend, nor foe, Freedom.

He is just... well... he's just Ricky boy.
