Sympathy for Obama
Yes folks, come January when President Obama is sworn in as the 44th President, his theme song will be performed by the Rolling Stones.
"Please to meet you, hope you guessed my name.
But whats puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah, get down, baby
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But whats confusing you
Is just the nature of my game
Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails
Just call me lucifer
cause Im in need of some restraint
So if you meet me
Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse
Or Ill lay your soul to waste, um yeah
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, um yeah
But whats puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, um mean it, get down"

I think everyone that's counting on an Obama victory this November is underestimating the American people. The media, try as they might - and this election without even a semblance of impartiality or integrity - dont elect the ticket in and of themselves. Neither do the pundits and talking heads on TV. And all those "polls" we keep seeing with Obama ahead are just that, polls, where even the sligtest "modification" to the demographic or sample can mean huge changes in numbers ( http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tom-blumer/2008/10/02/cooking-ap-polls-radically-changes-party-mix-fabricate-obama-trend.
Ultimately, it's the American Voter that calls the shots and last night's debate, for the first time ever I believe, gave the voter a chance to elect someone into office that isnt part and parcel and beholded to the Beltway political cobweb. That, in and of itself, is gonna go a long way.
Jot this down, folks: McCain/Palin in a landslide victory.

"...all those "polls" we keep seeing with Obama ahead are just that, polls"
I do take heart in the knowledge that, throughout the primaries, BarryO overpolled and underperformed.
"Jot this down, folks: McCain/Palin in a landslide victory."
So let it be written. So let it be done.

I agree with Pixelchik, Val. I'm just concerned the message about who Obama a/k/a Lucifer really is...is not getting out there to Main Street USA.

Mike,
Im of the Ace school of thought and think that McCain is just waiting for the bailout bill to be signed. I think he's going for the jugular after that.
One of last night's analysts on CNN - yes! CNN! keep your enemies closer and all that - stated something that Ive been thinking all along: It's obvious McCain has a plan. What that plan is is yet to be known, but there's definitely a plan.
Take away the economy from Dem talking points and what do they have?BIG OIL! BIG OIL! BIG OIL!
Americans are sick of that big oil BS the dems have been shoving down their throats for years. Certainly, it wanst Big Oil that screwed our eceonomy that way it is.
It's gonna get down and dirty and soon.

Val,
I hope for our sakes that you're right and McCain/Palin are elected in November; otherwise is going to be four very painful years (much more painful than the Jimmy Carter years) for the American people.

Surprise! I thought it was gonna be an ugly woman singing. First time I see that video. But now I know what Michael Jackson's been up to, becoming a young Mick Jagger.
Also didn't know that this song included maracas and tumbadora. Estamos colao en donde quiera.
