Must be a very sentimental feeling!

BTW, you're supposed to be in your anniversary vacation. STOP BLOGGING. LOL!

So how did you like the Boleros lounge on that ship ?
Salsa music, sweet mojitos, and Cuban cigars !

There are no Cuban cigars on this ship.

But you can always grab a few genuine Habanos when you dock in Georgetown Cayman Islands. There's a great "Casa del Habano" right across the street from where you dock.
The cigar lounge on the ship only sells crappy non-Cuban smokes.

I make it a point not to subsidize the regime. There's plenty of fine smokes from other countries.

I will passing near Santiago tonight.

Henry,

I’ve seen that same view many times before in my cruises (that's the closest I've come to Cuba in the last 30+ years of my life).

How close and yet how far is every time I've seen that coastline and always felt strange inside because I have chosen not to travel to Cuba until is free and don’t regret it as a matter of principle.

We'll see how much longer is going to take for this Communist nightmare on the island that I was born to finally unravel.

Enjoy your ten years weeding anniversary and have a few mojitos to celebrate.
