Post debate thoughts

It was a snorer. Lousy questions, lousy moderating. Tom Brokaw makes Gwen Ifill look competent, in comparison. Brokaw proved tonight, without a reasonable doubt, how much he's in the tank for Obama. That at least, is a good thing. McCain got in a few jabs and Obama got in a few uppercuts. It was a pretty even fight in my book, and it was terribly, terribly boring. No mention of any of the alliances Obama has made with Communist, radicals, leftists, nothing.

I guess Sarah Palin will have to be the one who plays Buford Pusser.

George -

I hear ya.

I never liked the 'townhall' style that much. The wandering around is tiresome. I think people lose their train of thought when doing so.

Stand still already!

And yeah, the questions were retreads. Not ONE person's questions about Obama's 'friends' made it through the debate filter? Especially since it has been news the last few days with Gov. Palin shouting it so loudly that the AP felt the need to call her a racist over it?

Come on! You know if it had been McCain's 'buddies' it WOULD have been brought up by Brokaw ... or someone in the audience. I saw MORE biased stuff in the townhall debate in Bush/Kerry `04.
