Debates Part II - SSDD

Zoo-2951-Edit.jpg

I'm even more convinced these debates have become a crock of monkey caca. They need to have the public ask questions instead of having Mr. Excitement, Tom Broke-jaw pick the same questions we've already heard answers too. Both Obama and McCain gave us the same talking points we've been hearing for months now.

It was nice to finally hear McCain calling a spade a spade on Fannie and Freddie, but frankly, I do not think anyone's mind had been made up because of what was said in the debate today.

The Left is cheering the bad economy because historically the party in office will get the blame. Money talks and all else is bullshit. I wish to God that McCain had said one thing:

In 1980 and 1981 we were in a recession worse than what we're in now. How did we get out it? A Reagan tax cut and better trade policies. Why wasn't trade discussed at this debate? Why wasn't immigration and Latin America discussed? Abortion and the Freedom of Choice Act which is pending in Congress? Supreme Court selection? It's all the same crap that's already discussed.

I think these two monkeys are going to put the country to sleep for God's sake.

I'm sure that with the exception of those pot smoking cult of personality followers who've been behind Obama the whole time, the majority of Americans have to choose from someone who was not their number one choice.

It's funny as I was talking to one of my partners today who is a Dem. She was for Hillary and my first choice was for Rudy and we were both saying that why the hell does it seem in every election we have to choose the lesser of two evils.

I hope that I am wrong, but I don't think that McCain has a chance in hell in being president unless the public hears the truth about Obama. And frankly, the public is not going to hear it from the MSM in sufficient numbers to make a difference. Other than the die hard lefty pansies out there, those that vote for Obama will be doing so cause they are all convinced thanks in part to the media and just the economic situation that the one currently in the White House is the cause. This coupled with the widespread voter fraud that is anticipated by the left and their ACORN cronies will make a difference in this close election I predict.

If I'm right, and I hope I am wrong, what I see happening is somewhat of a repeat of 1992 when Clinton and a Dem Congress got their priorities out of whack and caused a backlash. We, as in the GOP, had real leadership in the 1990's. No such leadership exists in my opinion that can make a difference. Until such leadership stands up and is heard, I'm fearing a four year pinhead orgy led by the troika of Obama, Pelosi, and Reid. I'm sure that though gives the lefty cretins major hard ons, but what the Dems have in store will only make things worse. The Dems will either take us into a great depression or they will say to every sucker who voted for them, "Remember all those things I promised you? Well, Never Mind. Things Have Changed."

I'm Cigar Mike and I approve this message.

I agree with you Cigar Mike. It was nothing but the same tonight. I could've watched the same responses at a regular rally. Tom Brokaw did a crappy job tonight. I expected to hear questions about their character, abortion, immgration, and any question an average citizen would want to know about!! I REALLY wanted to hear about Obama's association with Ayers -- and I lean liberal. It's going to change nothing here. VERY DISAPPOINTING DEBATE!

It's interesting that this debate which was to be conducted in a Townhall setting (the preferred choice of McCain) became that of the venue preferred by Obama, the orator ... It was indeed quite disappointing.

J2tharome,
There's plenty out there for you to learn about Obama association with Ayers and others (he's certainly not the only radical connection to Obama) If you would like to get a headstart on Obama's socialist ties ... check the link below

BARACK OBAMA SOCIALIST PAST

"Barack Obama was active participant in the 1990s of the Chicago New Party and, importantly, the Chicago DSA, a group of socialists affiliated with the Democratic Socialists of America."

Barack Obama Continued Attending Membership Meetings of the Chicago DSA New Party. Obama attended membership meeting on April 11, 1996 where he expressed his gratitude for their support. The report shared that “Barack Obama, victor in the 13th State Senate District, encouraged NPers to join in his task forces on Voter Education and Voter Registration.”

I wish you well :) Melek

"Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual - or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country." ~ S. Adams

Tom Brokaw is a die-hard Democrat. To top it off he's boring as hell.

The reason you will not hear questions on abortion in these debates is because if Obama was forced to lay it on the line on that subject he would lose the election. The msm is not going to give him any dangerous questions where he would have to show his true colors.
If only McCain were less gentlemanly and wanted to win more.

I meant to say I wanted Obama to be confronted with the question of Ayers. Alot of people think it's smear campaigning, but I believe it questions his character and judgement. People need to know about this. Tom Brokaw mentioning he hand-picked those questions was enough for me to know the outcome!

McCain is your boy Mike. Let's face it he sucks. He's not conservative, he's tone deaf to what's going on around him and he has basically 3 arguments. He's bipartisan, he hates pork, and he hates corruption. That just ain't going to cut it. When you hear Newt Gingrich speak you know that he knows what the issues are in this campaign and offers a conservative solution for the problems. He should have run. He probably wouldn't have the nomination because too many people were too darned impressed with McCains very impressive personal story but that's not enough.

P.S. this wasn't Brokaw's fault or the format. The debate is a canvas and the candidates need to use it to paint the pictures they want to paint and from what I'm reading McCain painted nothing new. Just the same Jackson Pollack style splatters that he's given us before.

Henry,
I agree with your P.S.
