MSM Cries Sexism? Gimme a Break!

This week, Sarah Palin was at a rally at a university here in PA and some of the students from where I teach attended. It was their luck to get caught in this photo which is all over the internet and I just saw it now on Leno--

Turns out these boys are my students. The media has been going crazy all day calling this picture sexist. I don't think it was sexist until they slapped the label next to it. No, the kid isn't trying to look up her skirt. No, I don't think his gaze is directed at her privates. I think he is completely, totally, over the top star struck that he is inches away from The Sarah Palin. I think he is blown away by the moment and yes, probably by her beauty, too. But let me tell you, if I were that close to either Sarah Palin or John McCain, I'd have a wide-eyed look on my face as well. Cut the kid a break- he's "this close" to a woman who might be the next VP of the United States and the media has to paint this like Sarah Palin will get votes because she is a good looking woman who is enticing to boys of voting age because she is attractive. This is not about being sexist, it's about taking another pot shot at Sarah Palin and disguising it as sexism because so far, everything else has been sexist. The MSM is trying to play the sexist card when they really want to reduce Sarah Palin to a set of nice gams. That's why they are calling attention to the picture. Since when has the MSM cared that she has been treated unfairly since announcing her candidacy? Give me a break.

Here's the same kid (right) and his friend, so turned on by the legs that he is yawning, in another shot.

Sexist? Coming from liberals who peddle filth on a daily basis, that's rich.

We just got our Code Pinko truck tuned up and we are heading for Philadelphia to protest.

George

I posted about this the other day.

Here were my thoughts on it:

Do you think the AP and Reuters would have taken and distributed these pictures if they Hillary Clinton's stumps? The cry of sexism is being directed at the MSM, not your students.

Tom-
I know it's not against my students, the MSM is who ran it. They are using the kids as a pawn to try to reduce Sarah Palin to a pair of legs. There was no sexism here, and they know it.

I see a picture of a powerful and beautiful woman and a young man admiring her. That's not sexist, just how things should be ;)

The mention of this picture originally came on the FoxNews website. They're making a big stir over nothing. It's sooo obvious he's looking at Palin, and not in between her legs.

BTW, I see this as an artistic picture. I think of a confident, sexy Palin standing there.
