We get letters...
Some time ago I managed to involuntarily get onto the mailing list of some folks who send emails to each other about Coconut Grove politics. As best I can gather, because I really don't give a shit, they have a serious beef with Miami City Commissioner Marc Sarnoff. I decided to mark their stuff as junk mail and most of the time it goes right into my spam folder but, for some reason, every now and then one gets into my in-box like this:

Subject: RE: State Representative Carlos Lopez-Cantera
Carlos Lopez-Cantera is one of those nutcase conservatives who would want to put Catholic/Baptist religious courses in public schools. All of the republican Cuban-American legislators from Miami are nutcases who went to religious schools, and for some unknown reason team up with those upstate white legislators whose fathers and grandfathers who wore white sheets and pointy hats, burned crosses, and made life for minority people hell.
Let's face it, liberal Democrats just don't like it when you stray too far from their plantation. We should just shut up and see the world through their enlightened world view.

I have countless examples of liberals going nuts. It used to be that they called Bush stupid. That made them feel so good. Quick as a wink that's what they now call Sarah Palin.
I had a conversation with an Obama supporter this weekend. I said, "wasn't it terrible that that kid hacked into Palin's computer? How did he do that?" The answer was that it is not very hard to hack into a computer. Within a minute of saying that, he was criticizing Palin for using Yahoo for government work because she could then be able to hide things from the public. I am not making this up.

I kinda feel sorry for these stupid people. Don't they realize Cuban-Americans don't have an inferiority complex? We don't act or feel like a minority. Comprendanlo ya partida de comemierdas!
