Jesse Jackson gives us a preview of an Obama presidency
Never known as a person that can keep from vocalizing his internal monologue, Jesse Jackson gave the attendees of the World Policy Forum in Evian, France a preview of what America's foreign policy will be like under the leadership of Messiah Obama.
The New York Post reported Tuesday that the Rev. Jesse Jackson said the United States will rid itself of years of "Zionist" control under an administration headed by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. The daily quoted the veteran civil rights leader on Tuesday as having said that although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they will lose a much of their clout when Obama enters the White House.
Speaking at the first World Policy Forum event in Evian, France, Jackson promised "fundamental changes" in U.S. foreign policy. He said the most important change would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" would end.
Jackson said that Obama "wants an aggressive and dynamic diplomacy." He went on to criticize the Bush administration's handling of Middle East diplomacy, telling the Post, "Bush was so afraid of a snafu and of upsetting Israel that he gave the whole thing a miss. Barack will change that," because, as long as the Palestinians haven't seen justice, the Middle East will "remain a source of danger to us all."
Naturally, the Obama campaign immediately disavowed Jackson's comments and claimed that Jackson is neither an adviser nor in any position to interpret Obama's policy toward Israel. But considering the many associations with antisemitic extremists Obama has had throughout his career, one has to wonder just how far, if far at all, these comments are from the truth.
Although it could not be confirmed, it is reported that when told of Jackson's comments, Senator Obama replied, "that is not the Jesse Jackson I know."

His disavowal is akin to saying, "Don't mind that guy behind the curtain."

I am not using hyperbole when I say that many of Obama's senior policy advisers are old-line Jew-haters from way back. I have told my liberal Jewish friends, to no avail, that a vote for Obama may hasten the destruction of the State of Israel by inaction on the part of the United States under an Obama administration. Shame on them for turning their back on Israel when the times require more of our help and support.

If anyone knows the Obama’s well is Jesse Jackson. His life and that of his children have been intertwined with the Obamas for a long, long time:
Jesse Jackson, Jr., Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives representing Illinois's 2nd congressional district, serves as national co-chairman of the Barack Obama Presidential campaign. His wife Sandra “Sandi” Jackson, serves on the Chicago City Council, and is a close friend of Michelle Obama.
Michelle Obama was also a high school classmate of Santita Jackson, the daughter of Jesse Jackson and sister of Jesse Jackson, Jr.
“Birds of a feather flock together.”

I don't get American Jews. I have a colleague whose husband is Israeli. He (conservative and lived there long enough to fight in the military) has tried to talk her out of voting for Obama and she said she's "not sure." If for no other reason than she should vote AGAINST the man who would see the country of her husband's birth wiped off the map!

Yeah, I don't why Jewish people would vote for Obama. Better yet I have friend who is a Cuban Jew and has his heart set on Obama! I don't get it. Are the sheep (Americans) being lead to slaughter?

Why are liberal Jews voting for Obama? Because thier belief in the importance of being "liberal" and the work of the ACLU is the foundation of their identity, not being Jewish or supporting Israel. They've swallowed the leftist kook-aid. Just my take.
